It was a fun day for Worcester Public Schools students on March 1, 2024, as Chandler Elementary Community School hosted professionals and celebrities from throughout Massachusetts to celebrate Read Across America Day with students.

MLM attorney Paige Tobin joined other professionals, public safety personnel, and high school athletes from the local area, as well as members of the New England Patriots team and Patriots Cheerleaders, to engage with elementary school students and read to them from an assortment of books. Paige has been a regular participant in the event in recent years, in a lighthearted and welcome reprieve from the daily work of a school attorney. This year, Paige read to students from the book Creepy Pair of Underwear! by Aaron Reynolds, regaling them with the story of a brave bunny and his unsettling underwear.

Chandler Elementary Community School has seen frequent visits from Patriots players, officials, and mascot Pat Patriot this year, a result of the school being chosen as a Patriots Foundation Adopt-a-School partner for the 2023-2024 school year. Though the Patriots were undoubtedly the stars of the show, Paige was nonetheless delighted to be a participant in the event.
