Joshua Coleman is a shareholder and attorney at MLM. He has extensive experience in municipal and school law, including labor and employment, collective bargaining, contracts, public records and open meeting laws, and education law. Josh has handled cases in all levels of litigation, including before the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Massachusetts Appeals Court, Superior Court, and District Court, as well as administrative agencies such as the Department of Labor Relations, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Civil Service Commission, and the Division of Unemployment Assistance. In addition to his representation of municipalities and schools, he is a frequent lecturer at trainings and workshops on municipal and education law topics throughout Massachusetts. Josh has also handled arbitrations at the American Arbitration Association and conducted investigations into matters such as employee misconduct and Title IX compliance. He has been with the firm since 2018.

Josh earned his B.A. from the University of Rochester and his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law.

Josh is a member of the Massachusetts bar and is also licensed to practice at the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
