Kathleen Mulligan is an associate attorney at MLM. Katie is an experienced litigator whose practice at MLM includes all aspects of municipal and school law, with a primary focus in litigation, collective bargaining, education, and labor and employment law. Katie has litigated cases at the Massachusetts Appeals Court, Appeals Court Single Justice, Superior Court, and District Court, as well as Massachusetts administrative agencies including the Department of Insurance and Parole Board. Katie joined the firm in 2024. Prior to MLM, Katie had a successful solo practice as a criminal defense attorney and worked in insurance defense specializing in fraud investigations.

Katie earned her B.A. from Hamilton College and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.

Katie is a member of the Massachusetts bar and is also licensed to practice at the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
