Fall ASE Conference Features MLM Attorney Paige Tobin
The fall Massachusetts Administrators of Special Education (ASE) Conference will again include Paige Tobin as a speaker, continuing her many years of participation in the program.
The conference, scheduled for November 2, 2023 in Worcester, will cover a variety of topics and trends in special education. The conference’s keynote speaker will be DESE's Commissioner of Elementary and Secondary Education Jeffrey C. Riley, who will cover topics special education leaders and school teams need to know as the new school year progresses. Paige will also be featured as a speaker at the conference, alongside DESE’s Deputy Commissioner Russell Johnston, Jean Lindquist-Grady, Psy.D., and resilience strategist Rita Schiano. Paige’s presentation will address current trends and themes critical to special education coming from the BSEA and the First Circuit, and include a robust discussion of new cases, how to read and understand them, and how the decisions will impact special education administrators.
In addition to her regular presentations to ASE, Paige frequently provides trainings, newsletters, and advice to special education administrators throughout Massachusetts and often publishes special education articles and continuing legal education materials in various periodicals.
Additional information about the fall ASE conference, as well as registration materials, is available at http://www.asepage.org/. Registration is currently open.
